Crystal-chemistry aspects and electric-field-gradient (EFG) dispersion in Ca-gallogermanate-type structures studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy

Rezumat:

Este studiata prin spectroscopia Mössbauer cu Fe 57, dezordinea de camp cristalin in unii germanti trigonali, de tipul X3-yLnyFe2+yGe4-yO14 (X = Ba, Sr; Ln = La, Nd; y = 0, 1). Este investigata despersia gradientului de camp electric (GCE)la pozitiile octaedrale din acesti compusi. Se prezinta o corelatie dintre valorile experimentale si cele calculate de GCE si unele aspecte de chime cristalina. The crystal field disorder in some trigonal germanates of the type X3-yLnyFe2+yGe4-yO14
(X = Ba, Sr; Ln = La, Nd; y = 0, 1) is studied by 57Fe Mössbauer effect. The dispersion of the electric field gradient (EFG) at the octahedral sites of these compounds is investigated. A correlation of the experimental and calculated EFG data with some crystal-chemistry aspects is presented.
