Rezumat:

Paper presents yhe mechanical and cavitation characteristics of 14 materials tested in Timisoara Hydraulic Machinery Laboratory. The experimental work was done in magnetostrictive T1 and piezoceramic T2 vibratory devices.The cavitation characteristics obtained in this way are used for the generalization of the relation presented by Steller and Sakai-Shima and a correlation was made between the parameters A,f,d, specific to the cavitation process generated in a vibratory facility, with MDPR and the mechanical characteristics of the material.
