„After seven successful conferences the annual meeting of the European Network of Business and Industry Statistics has established as the platform for statistical practitioners and academics to exchange ideas, challenges and techniques in statistics for Business and Industry. As has become custom in the past conferences we look for presentations and posters about all topics with application to business and industry. We like to encourage especially case studies from statistical practitioners and examples of applications of new techniques (or old techniques to new fields) by academics. But there will be also the opportunity to present theoretical results and discuss the possibilities to practical application.

We are interested in a wide variety of topics such as:

* Data mining/warehousing
* Reliability and Safety
* Risk Management
* Process Modelling and Control
* Quality improvement
* Statistical consultancy
* Measurement uncertainty
* Pharma (non-clinical)
* Teaching Statistics
* Six-Sigma
* Computer Experiments
* Statistical methods in marketing

The abstract submission will become available mid of March 2008. We will ask you to classify your talk either as practical or theoretical. The deadline for abstract submission will be 30. April 2008. Notification of acceptance will be end of May.”
