Rezumat:

The Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state is a well-known tool for the correlation of phase equilibria at high pressures. It quite successfully describes very complex systems. In this paper, the SRK EOS has been tested with respect to its capability to describe nitrogen and carbon dioxide solubilities in alternative fuels (dimethyl ether or methanol) at high pressures. The results of correlation of vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) for five binary systems and of prediction of VLE for two ternary systems are presented and discussed.
