Rezumat:

This paper treats one of the most actual management issues: is a company better-off in terms of energy efficiency and does it obtain better economic ratios if it takes the decision of implementing solar energy conversion systems? If it is so, one could ask to which extent and under what constraints? The paper takes the case of two companies placed in the Brasov area, which act in two different industrial sectors: equipments and machines manufacturing industry and textiles industry, which currently use only conventional energy. The approach is to test the efficiency of introducing solar energy conversion systems in order to produce a part of the total thermal and electric necessary energy, by analyzing the economic parameters affected by such a management decision.
