Rezumat:
The use of the anionic clay structural “memory effect” as a controlled variable of the synthesis process of oleate – LDHs hybrid formulations is presented. The as – prepared materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption at 77 K, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The successive cycles of calcination followed by the manifestation of the clay structural “memory” during the reconstruction process of the layered network have established specific structural and textural properties of the oleate – LDH assemblies; the amount of oleate incorporated in the LDH matrix reaches a maximum value after the second calcination – reconstruction cycle. After the fourth calcination – reconstruction cycle the layered network of the clay is not reconstructed pointing out to the “limited” structural “memory” of the LDH matrices. These results can open new perspectives to optimize the amount of biomolecules incorporated in LDHs formulations.
