Chapter 7, Conducted Problems.
In this chapter interference which appears in circuits via the copper wire connections to the outside world will be considered, rather than by radiated signals: in other words, Conducted Interference. Some components and techniques, that can be used to suppress or prevent conducted interference affecting circuits, will be identified. This chapter will enable the electronics engineer or technician to limit the effects of conducted interference on the circuits being designed, built or used. Conducted emissions and conducted susceptibility; Coupling mechanisms; the problem of crosstalk; as well as some examples of problems are discussed.
