In the paper, some aspects concerning the finite element modeling of the interaction between the EMF radiated by a half-wavelength dipole antenna and 2D finite element simulations of six human models have carried out. The head geometries for an adult and for a child are considered. The SAR peak values and the absorbed power values are evaluated for different frequencies. The adult and child results are compared with those from 3D models in the literature.

The paper presents some experimental methods of the treatment and investigation aspects and results concerning the interaction of the low energy laser with living tissue in the treatment of some skin diseases.

The paper presents the results of the experiments concerning the influence of the low energy laser radiation on the germination, growth and photosynthesis processes in mustard plants. We used a He-Ne laser to irradiate the mustard seeds with different exposure times. The seeds were sowed and the germination and growth intensity, clorophyl quantity and respiration intensity were determinated. We ascertained that the germination and growth of the plants

The paper presents the investigation of the catalytic agent influence on the crystallinity degree of polymers (metallocene polyethylene). Differential scanning calorimetry was the method used to determine the crystallinity. It was underlined that the catalyst has a great influence on the crystallinity of metallocene polyethylene. The results are in good agreement with the preceeding ones.
