Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

Piotr Swiatek is a German physicist of Polish origin. He received his PhD in solid state physics from the University of Cologne. From 1986-2001 he worked as a physicist in the Research Centre Juelich, Germany. He was Project Manager of “Fit for Europe” run by the European Liaison Office of German Research Organisations (KoWi) until 2003. “Fit for Europe” was a project supporting scientist from Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), financed by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and coordinated by KoWi. From 2004-2008 Piotr Swiatek worked in Brussels as Senior Science Officer at COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), one of the longest-running instruments supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe. He is now with the Research Centre Juelich (FZJ) / DE, working for Project Management Jülich (PTJ) which is responsible for energy cooperation both on a European and national level. With 4600 staff and €500 million p.a., Jülich is one of the largest research centers in Europe. As one of the biggest project management organizations in Germany, Project Management Jülich with its National Contact Point (NCP) is a competent partner for science, industry and politics. With expertise in research and innovation management, Project Management Jülich supports its clients in the German federal government and state governments as well as the European Commission in implementing their research policy goals. Project Management Jülich is thus an important point of contact for those interested in Germany as a competitive location for research and innovation in a common European Research Area. PTJ NCP is a part of pan-European network of FP7 NCPs known as C-Energy+ Network.
