Sunt doctor in fizica din 2010, cu teza de doctorat "Contribuţii la studiul fenomenelor de transport şi a proprietãţilor optice ale unor semiconductori oxidici conductori şi transparenţi. Activitatea de cercetare, de pana acum, a fost consacrata obtinerii si caracterizarii unor semiconductori oxidici cum ar fi ZnO, In2O3, CdO, SnO2, sub forma de straturi subtiri. Pentru straturile subtiri analizate am stabilit o serie de corelatii intre metoda de depunere, parametrii de depunere utilizati si proprietatile straturilor respective. De asemenea, am acordat atentie proprietatilor functionale ale straturilor subtiri aflate in studiu. Rezultatele stiintifice s-au concretizat prin publicarea a 20 de lucrari in reviste cotate ISI (Hirsch Index: 4) si peste 50 de prezentari la conferinte nationale si internationale. Am coordonat in calitate de director- 1 proiect nationale: PNII-RU-TD Proiecte de cercetare pentru tineri doctoranzi nr. 567/2007 si am fost membru al echipei de cercetare al altor granturi nationale si internationale. In prezent sunt cercetator post doctoral in cadrul proiectului POSDRU/89/1.5/S/49944.

I obtained PhD in Physics in 2010 with the thesis "Contributions to the study of the transport phenomena and optical properties of some conducting and transparent oxidic semiconductors in thin films". My research activity was dedicated to the deposition and characterization of some semiconducting oxides such as: ZnO, In2O3, CdO, SnO2 in thin films. Some correlation between deposition technique, deposition parameters and thin films properties were established. Also, the functional properties of some semiconducting oxide films were investigated. The original results were published in 20 papers in ISI journals (Hirsch Index: 4) and up to 50 participations at international conferences. I was director - 1 national project: PNII-RU-TD projects of research for young PhD students PN II, No 567/2007 and was member in research team of other national and international grants. In the present, I am a postdoctoral research fellow (project POSDRU/89/1.5/S/49944).
