EFFICIENCY OF HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT IN ACUTE INFLAMMATION
Purpose of work
anti-inflammatory effect study of homeopathic remedy Apis in comparison with that of Diclofenac
Principles of homeopathy
Material and method
60 white mice
the age on experiment: 20 days
Sex: masculine
Weight approx. 18-21 g
With no associated pathology
After the experiment they lived approx. 14-15 days
Material and method
Study lot: 3 lots of 20 white mice, to which have achieved a local inflammation on the posterior member level by inoculating the subcutaneous formaldehyde.
To 20 mice it has been intraperitoneal premedicated Diclofenac 6 mg/kg body with 30 minutes before the formaldehyde inoculation
To other 20 mice it has been orally administrated the homeopathic remedy Apis in CH7 dilution immediate after the formaldehyde inoculation
and 20 mice were formed the witness lot, being intraperitoneal administrated the physiologic serum with 30 minutes before the formaldehyde inoculation
Material and method
It has been measured the dorsoplantar diameter to all mice before the formaldehyde administration, and then to several intervals of time.
Results
Mice from witness lot have shown an obvious increase of dorsoplantar diameter, with a top upon 30 minutes from the formaldehyde inoculation, following then a slow decrease of inflammation, which still endure upon 3 hours.
Results
Mice premedicated with Diclofenac have shown a moderate increase of dorsoplantar diameter, with a maximum upon 15-30 minutes from the formaldehyde inoculation, but with 2 times lower sizes than un-medicated mice, with endurance upon 3 hours. (p < 0,8)
Results
The mice, homeopathic treated with Apis CH7, have shown a top of tumefaction upon 15 minutes, with diameters of about 4 times lower than un-medicated mice (p < 0,8), and 2 times lower than in case of premediaction with diclofenac (p < 0,5), following up to 30 minutes a considerable decrease of inflammation, achieving that upon 30 minutes from the formaldehyde inoculation, when the inflammation was maximum on the other two lots, to the lot homeopathic treated the dorsoplantar diameters to be of approximate 7 times, respectively of 4 times lower. Upon 3 hours, the inflammation grade on the homeopathic treated lot was almost immeasurable.
Results
Besides the objective element formed by the noticeable decrease of dorsoplantar diameter, the general condition of the mice homeopathic treated, paraphrased by activity, diet, mobility has been better maintained during the experiment.
Conclusions
Homeopathic remedy Apis CH7 was very efficient in prevention and struggle against the acute inflammation
The existence and validity of an alternative insufficient scientifically studied and explained until present, homeopathy
Homeopathy – an extra weapon which we have in the fight against sufferance
