Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

Alex Doboli a obtinut titlul de "Doctor" in stiinta calculatoarelor in 1997 la Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timisoara. In 2000, a obtinut titlul de Doctor of Philosophy in Ingineria Calculatoarelor la University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH.

Incepand din August 2000, este Assistant Professor la Stony Brook University, State University of New York, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Domeniul sau de cercetare este metodologii si algoritmi CAD pentru proiectare automata de sisteme electronice: specificare, modelare si sinteza automata de sisteme mixte (analog-digitale si hardware-software).

Alex Doboli was awarded the "Doctor" degree in Computers from the "Politehnica" University Timisoara in 1997. In 2000, he received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from University of Cincinnati.

Since Fall 2000, he is an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University, State University of New York, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research is in CAD methodologies and techniques for design of embedded systems and Systems-on-Chip: specification, modeling, and synthesis of heterogeneous-domain systems, including mixed-signal and hardware-software applications.
