Education:
I studied Philosophy and Anthropology in Cluj where I received my BA and MA from Babes Bolyai University. I received a Cert. Teach. and a PhD in Philosophy from University of London.
Academic activity:
I taught Philosophy at Avram Iancu University in Cluj (1999) and since 2000 Philosophy and Classical Studies in University of London at Royal Holloway College, University College London and King's College London. Between 2004 and 2008 I taught Western Culture and Civilisation and Social Studies in the People's Republic of China. Since 2009 I am the director of Director, Centre for International Cooperation, National School of Political Studies and Administration, Bucharest.
Conferences and guest lecturer at: University of London (UK), Universitatea Babes-Bolyai (Romania), Universitatea Bucuresti (Romania), Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), Marquette University (USA), University of Maine (USA), University of Warwick (UK), Charles University (Czech rep.), École Pratique des Hautes Études (France).

My research interests are in ancient philosophy (philosophy of mind and epistemology), political philosophy and cultural anthropology (Asian societies).
