- Polymers physics and physical – chemistry: polymer structure – property relationship, molecular composition, amorphous structure and bulk density, crystalizability and crystalline level, orientability, molecular and crystal orientation as relate to mechanical strength and ultimate strain, ductibility and durability, hydrophilicity and hydrofobicity, dyeability, diffusion and barrier properties, adhesion and bondability.
- Polymer compatibility: the appling the thermodynamic principles to develop compatibilized polymer blends or alloy, the using of compatibilizing agents and reactive blending techniques to improve polymer compatibility; polymer chemical functionalization, molecular –weight degradation and dynamic vulcanization ;
