• statusul cardiovascular al pacientilor dializati (in special parametrii ecocardiografici si monitorizarea ambulatorie a tensiunii arteriale);
• afectarea vasculara la pacientul uremic
• eficienta dializei, modelul kineticii ureei;
• particularitatile dializei la varstnic
• principalii factori determinanti şi de prognostic pentru supravietuirea pacientilor dializati;
• rinichiul polichistic (ADPKD)
• hepatita B si C la pacientul hemodializat
• factori predictivi de instalare ai IRA.

• hemodialysis - short term access, by central catheter (subclaviar, jugular and femoral line): >1000 catheter insertions
• planning and ordering in acute and chronic dialysis
• direct supervising of more than 20000 acute and chronic dialysis
• treatment of acute intra and interdialytic complications
• 1000 renal biopsies
• 40 bone biopsies
• echocardiographic techniques, in order to appreciate cardiac function and hydration
• pericardiocentesis techniques in patients with uremic pericarditis
• implementation of CAPD in one of the three centers in Romania in 1995
• implementation of MARS - albumin (hepatic) dialysis in 2001 in Romania
transplantation - chief of one of the three transplantation centers in Romania
