Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

2002 MEDCOAST Events

MEDCOAST announces two events in 2002:

MED & BLACK SEA BEACHES 2002: Beaches of the Mediterranean and the
Black Sea: Dynamics, Regeneration, Ecology & Management 24 _ 27
October 2002, Sarigerme/Dalaman, Turkey

The workshop that will convene in a very attractive beach hotel
located at the southern Turkish Aegean coast, aims to bring together
engineers, scientists, planners, managers, decision makers and
developers to discuss the integrated management of beach resources.
The workshop covers a wide range of topics that are significant for
beaches. They range from technical subjects (such as sand transport
and the associated morphological changes, beach defence schemes with
emphasis to sand nourishment and soft innovative solutions), to
subjects pertinent to daily management of recreational beaches
(including recreational water quality standards, beach aesthetics and
userâ??s perceptions, beach management guidelines, interference with
beach ecology, etc). The papers selected for presentation in the
workshop will be published in the proceedings, which will be made
available to the participants at the time of registration.

MEDCOAST INSTITUTE 2002: Integrated Coastal Management in the
Mediterranean and the Black Sea. The Sixth International Training
Programme, 3-17
September 2002, Dalyan – The Aegean coast – Dalyan, Turkey

This is a comprehensive hands-on training program on integrated
coastal management specific to the needs of the Mediterranean and the
Black Sea. The Institute includes one-week long fieldwork carried out
on a sailing boat along the Aegean coast in addition to dynamic
in-class teaching. The training program is targeted at professionals
holding mid-managerial positions in their central governments and
being responsible for planning and execution of programs or projects
on coastal and marine issues. The other groups of interest are
employees of coastal municipalities, non-governmental environmental
organisations, universities and research centres.
