The interaction of an anionic porphyrin meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin (TSPP) with a polymeric sorbant resin called Macronet in aqueous solution, is investigated in this paper by spectral techniques: UV-Vis, IR. The polymric resins used in this paper MN150, MN250, have a porosity formed by micropors (14 Å) and mesopors (300-400 Å) which yield to a high specific surface: 900-1200 m2/g and a small pors volume: 0,6-0,8 ml/g. Due to the big size, the porphyrin has enough space for being encapsulated and the encapsulation efficiency is strictly dependent of the electric charges of both components: porphyrin and macronet. In the case of MN150 (with anionic character) with medium por diameter of 392 Å, the H and J aggregation of TSPP is favoured (with a lenght between 100 and 1000 nm, respectively) while in the case of MN250 (hydrofob with neutral character), with a medium diameter of 372 Å, appears as favourable neutral forms. This fact is obvious from the colour change of TSPP, which in the case of MN250 is changing and become imediatelly from green (characteristic to agregated forms) blue (characteristic to neutral forms).
