Rezumat:

For the study of hydraulic resonance in a system with admision gallery,one or two surge tanks and penstok,the general equations of the motion of the water are considered in the hypoteheses of mall harmonic perturbations at the level correspondingly described in the boundary conditions.For the liniarized model around the steady state the response to harmonic excitations is computed by the method of characteristics,optaining thue the resonance frequencies,corresponding to the maximal amplitudes of the variations of water pressure in the penstok at the turbine section.
The frequencies obtained are tested by numerical simulation on the non linear mathematical model.Two exemples of application of the method are described.
