Rezumat:
This paper deals with bending of reinforcement concrete beam rested on non-linear elastic foundation. The beam is discretized by layered izoparametric finite elements. The deformation of solid soil is modeled with the infinite elements. The beam and foundation connection is considered as the non-linear normal and shear bond. The concrete material is modelled with stiffening in compression and softening in tension. The properties of the steel are exhibited by a bilinear stress-strain diagram. Soil structure interaction is idealised by the 2D solid infinite elements and non-linear Winkler modules in the axial and transversal direction.
