Rezumat:
The paper presents results obtained by following the dynamics of the incidence of infective cyathostomines larvae (L3) in pastures of western Romania in the period from October 2002 until March 2003. Grass sam/es were collected for a period of eight months and microscopic examinations established the presence of parasitic larvae. The authors concluded that infectious cyathostomines larvae do not survive the winter period and that their number is the highest in the autumn and spring. Cyathostomines larvae develop most readily when humidity is not high and if air temperatures range form 10-25C.
