Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

Integrating Cooperation Research across Europe (INCORE)

Academic Visits & Visiting Fellowships

Call for applications

Applications are invited from researchers working in central and eastern Europe1 for short academic visits to research centres and laboratories participating in INCORE (see http://incore.ich.ucl.ac.uk). Academic Visits and Visiting Fellowships are intended to facilitate interactions between research centres working on cooperation, and address specific projects that relate to the research being undertaken by the INCORE partners.

The objective of INCORE is to further the development of research into cooperative behaviour in humans and animals. It also aims to encourage the participation of junior researchers in this field, and to promote collaboration between groups working on diverse aspects of cooperation research. Partner specialisms include animal ecology, brain and behavioural science, experimental economics, genetics and biosciences and primatology.

The following opportunities are offered for the period 1st September 2008 to 31st August 2009:

Two Visiting Fellowships for graduate students (two months each)
Two Visiting Fellowships for junior researchers2 (one month each)
Two Academic Visits for senior researchers3 (one week each)

Successful applicants will be awarded travel costs (maximum €500), a contribution to research costs (maximum €500), and subsistence for the duration of the visit.

The aims of the proposed research project should be achievable within the time frame of the visit and applicants should contact their intended host prior to submitting an application. INCORE is funded under the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission. It is falls under the theme of What it means to be human. The visiting fellow scheme is part of INCORE Work Package 4 (work package leader Prof Tamas Szekely, University of Bath).
