Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

Chimie coordinativa mono- si polinucleara: Sinteza sistemelor mono si polinucleare cu particularitati structurale relevante analitic (afinitatea mutuala a liganzilor, sisteme cu liganzi micsti, efecte ale chelarii, tensiunea in ciclu si topologia coordinarii). Proprietati speciale: Cromotropism, Magnetism (proiectarea si analiza magnetilor moleculari-"single molecule magnets" si a sistemelor monodimensionale-lanturi- cu proprietati de magneti “single-chain magnets”). Metode speciale si strategii de sinteza in chimia coordinativa si organometalica. Tehnici de masurare (SQUID) si interpretare a datelor magnetice (susceptibilitate, magnetizare, DC, AC anizotropie, RPE). Analiza structurala, cristalografica si rutine specifice metodelor de structura electronica (particularizare pe concepte ca legatura coordinativa curba, dezalinierea perechii de electroni neparticipanti, hibridizare, aromaticitatea ciclurilor chelatice).

Chimia clusterilor si chimie organometalica: Investigarea edificiilor moleculare aparent contrare regulilor HSAB, ca strategie de obtinere a proprietatilor speciale. Rationalizarea structurilor si reactiilor prin termeni esentiali ca Electronegativitate, Hardness, Hibridizare, Aromaticitate tridimensionala. Teorii electronice moderne (Tensor Surface Harmonics Theory) aplicate in investigarea structurala a clusterilor.

Chimia starii solide: Termocromism si reactii in faza solida ale compusilor coordinativi. Analiza termica si cinetica neizoterma. Studii experimentale si teoretice, modelarea reactiilor in faza solida cu multiple etape initiate termic.

Analiza spectrala (spectre electronice, RPE, RMN, MS) a compusilor anorganici. Interpretare si modelare.

Current research topics: The mechanics of the ferromagnetic coupling in a Mn(III)-Mn(III)-Fe(III) single chain magnet; Spin coupling between M ions through cyanide, radicals, carboxylates as bridging ligands and spin coupling in supramolecular structures; Ligand Field Driven Magnetic Anisotropy in new Mn(III) complexes; Tuning the single molecule magnet behavior in d-f heterometallic complexes; Symmetry mechanism insight in the luminescent properties of lanthanide clusters.

Research methodology: My work envisaged interdisciplinary goals and procedures, including synthesis, characterization by modern measurements and interpretation by advanced and new models of the important features related with exchange coupling, magnetic anisotropy and mechanisms of slow relaxation of magnetization, whose interplay are determining interesting magnetic properties. The work placed on equal footing the experimental part and the advanced interpretation and modeling.
