Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Scientifical areas of competence: -heat transfer, - mass transfer, - furnace gazodynamics, - heat treatment, furnaces, - thermical installations, - computer assisted design for furnaces and equipmentsThe theoretical and experimental results in the competence area were published in doctoral thesis, in numerous scientifical articles that are printed or in print in national and international prestigious journals. Domeniile de competenta sunt: ;procese de transfer de caldura si masa, instalatii de incalzire ; eficientizare cicluri de incalzire ;cuptoare si instalatii de tratament termic al aliajelor de aluminiu;controlul si functionarea utilajelor de incalzire;gazodinamica cuptoarelor industriale.
Rezultatele teoretice si practice in domeniile de competenta au fost publicate in teza de doctorat, precum si in numeroasele lucrari aparute si in curs de aparitie in reviste nationale si internationale de prestigiu. Cateva dintre aceste contributii la dezoltarea in domeniu, in directa legatura cu tema de cercetare sunt:
- imbunatatirea constructiv-functionala a utilajelor de incalzire folosite la tratamentul termic al aliajelor de aluminiu;
- proiectarea si realizarea unui cuptor electric tip camera, asistat de calculator
- modelarea matematica a gazodinamicii cuptoarelor industriale
- redimensionarea partiala a spatiului de lucru cu ajutorul unor panouri radiante orientate
- studii teoretice privind optimizarea transferului de caldura intr-un cuptor electric de temperaturi medii
- studii privind optimizarea tratamentului termic al aliajelor de aluminiu, implicatii asupra procesului de incalzire
- studii privind implicatiile metalurgice ale intensificarii transferului de caldura asupra aliajelor de aluminiu calite.
- studii privind necesitatile tehnologice ale aliajelor de aluminiu;

Some few contributions in the studied area are: constructive-functional improvement of equipment used in aluminum heat treat.;

- mathematical interpretation of gas dynamic in industrial furnaces;
- theoretical studies concerning heat transfer optimization in an electric furnace of medium temperatures;
- studies concerning aluminum alloys heat treatment optimization with implications on heat process;
- studies concerning the metallurgical implications of heat transfer intensify on quenched aluminum alloys;
