Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

2011-present Research Fellow, Transplantation Biology Research Center,Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. Performed research on skin immunity, tolerance, bio-engineered skin immunogenicity.

2010 Research Fellow, Stroke and Neurovascular Regulation Laboratory, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. Performed research on migraine, cerebral flow. Performed microsurgery on mice.

Skills Achieved:
Mice associated surgical procedures (anesthesia, femoral artery/vein cannulation, tracheostomy, open/closed cranial windows, polished and reinforced thinned skull windows-PoRTS, bilateral common carotid artery stenosis-BCAS, etc)
Neurite spine analysis in Z-stacks (Neuron Studio, Image J)
Image acquiring and post processing ( Matlab, MCID)
Mice management during OCT (optical coherence tomography), Dual Photon Microscopy- assessment of arterial blood gas

2008-2009, Intern, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, Emergency Hospital, Bucharest. Designed, developed and performed facial transplant studies on rats.
