• More than 9 years’ successful experience in managing and being an active part in many projects in the field of nuclear energy and radiation protection, organizing meetings, workshops and trainings at national and international level (EU, IAEA); good experience in European Aid Framework and IAEA-TC strategies and approaches;
• Experienced in establishing and maintaining good and effective working relations with people of multi-national, multi-ethnic and different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds. Ability to facilitate work in a team environment involving scientific, technical and administrative staff as well as with external industrial and commercial counterparts;
• Ability to set priorities, plan and organize own work and that of a team and/or working group and to meet deadlines; problem-solving attitude and end-oriented work capacity; respond positively to new and challenging tasks; seeks and welcomes feedback and adjusts behavior accordingly
• Solid knowledge and experience of radiation protection and nuclear safety principles and state-of-the-art of radiation protection, radiation detection and measurements and nuclear safety techniques;
• 7 years experience in drafting regulations, policies and legislation in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Romanian Nuclear Regulatory Body and other stockholders, writing reports, standards, procedures, manuals, and other scientific and technical documents;
• 11 years experience in reference dosimetry and calibration for medical field, occupational exposure and radiation protection, dose estimation (external radiation and biological dosimetry) and risk assessment for radiation workers and population within SSDL Romania; public information, risk perception and communication, consultancy in management of radiological emergencies, within the Compartment Health and Ionizing Radiation.
• Excellent working knowledge using both IBM and Mac systems; Microsoft Office Professional and Microsoft Map Point and good knowledge of computerized methods for analysis and evaluation of data; very good working knowledge using various simulation and dose estimation software;
• Develop plan, conduct audits and variance analyses as certified internal auditor (SE EN ISO 19011:2003) and quality manager (SR EN ISO/CEI 17025:2005);
• Designated auditor by the side of the Ministry of Health for Water Laboratories Certification
