Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

1982 - Graduation from the University Politehnica of Bucharest with 'Magna cum laudae', Faculty of Transport, Department of Railway Vehicles.
1999 - Ph. D. in Sciences, with a thesis on 'Contributions concerning the dynamic study of the vehicle/rail interaction', University Politehnica of Bucharest.
b) Professional experience, employer former
1982 - 1984 - Junior Engineer, employed with the Piatra Olt depot, the National Railway Company.
1984 - 1989 - Researcher at the Institute of Research and Technological Design in Transports, Bucharest, the Rolling Dynamics Laboratory.
University career at University Politehnica of Bucharest, the Faculty of Transport, Department of Railway Vehicles: 1989 - 1997 Assistant Professor; 1997 - 2008 Lecturer;
2008-present Associate Professor.
Member of professional: Member of Romanian Association for the Theory of Machines and Mechanisms (ARoTMM), Romanian Tribology Association (ART) and Romanian Society for Acoustics (SRA).
Competencies: modeling the vibrations of the railway vehicles and track, modeling the mechanisms of wheel/rail noise generation, design and calculus of suspensions for railway vehicles, thermal and noise insulations for railway vehicles, experimental research of the railway vehicles, MATLAB programming.
