Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

- Study of molecular processes that control the spatio-temporal gene expression;
- Study of chromatin assembly and chromatin remodelling processes during cytodifferentaition
- Study of epigenetic mechanisms involved in gametogenesis, fertilization, IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) and ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies)
- The identification of the epigenetic modifications (posttranslational modifications of core histones and DNA methylation) that occur at genome level and specifically, at the level of ribosomal genes promoter in different stages of cellular differentiation correlated with gene expression, using lower vertabrates as model organisms
- Using of ChIP assay, DNA co-precipitation and Histone Association Assay (HAA) in order to identify the association between transcriptional factors and some specific epigenetic changes and correlation with genes expression.
- Study of chromatin remodelling complexes in model organisms
- Study of mechanisms involved in genomic imprinting and the indentification of some new imprinted genes in mammals
- Study of genetic and epigenetic mechanisms involved in oral and maxillo-facial disorders.
