Studii: Liceul „Mihai Eminescu” Constanţa, (1965-1969); Facultatea de Medicinã Generalã a IMF Bucureşti (1969-1975); Specializare în Anatomie patologicã şi Medicinã legalã la Spitalul Caritas Bucureşti (1982-1985) devenind medic primar Anatomie patologicã în 1991; doctor în ştiinţe medicale la UMF „Carol Davila” (1995); schimb de experienţã la Universitatea din Cadiz, Spania (1993); numeroase cursuri internaţionale de Anatomie patologicã; Masterat în management sanitar (2006).
Activitate: Medic primar, Medic şef Serviciul Clinic de Anatomie Patologicã al Spitalului Clinic Judeţean de Urgenţã Constanţa; Profesor universitar şi şef catedrã Morfologie normalã şi patologicã din cadrul Facultãţii de Medicinã a Universitãţii „Ovidius” Constanţa, fiind fondator al Disciplinei de Anatomie Patologicã, al masteratului de ştiinte morfologice, iar din anul 2003 este Profesor coordonator de doctorate. Este implicatã în înfiinţarea a 5 Laboratoare de Anatomie patologicã în cadrul Spitalelor din Judeţul Constanţa, precum şi în extinderea Serviciului Clinic de Anatomie patologicã al Spitalului Clinic Judeţean de Urgenţa Constanţa cu înfiinţarea departamentelor de examen extemporaneu (1985), imunohistochimie (2007). Este fondator al Colectivului de Cercetare din Cadrul Serviciului Clinic de Anatomie Patologicã (2006) şi a Centrului de diagnostic morfologic şi genetic pentru studiul patologiei maligne.
Cercetare: Aprofundarea studiului limfoamelor non-Hodgkiniene cu localizare digestivã, a patologiei mamare, ovariene, tumorilor stromale digestive concretizate cu elaborarea unor protocoale de diagnostic. Evaluarea leziunilor pulmonare, ganglionare şi cerebrale din SIDA prin colaborarea cu profesorul Nezeloff, preşedintele de atunci al Societãţii Europene de Anatomie-Patologicã. Director de proiect a 11 proiecte de cercetare VIASAN, CEEX, PNCDI II, IMPACT, POSDRU şi membru în 12 proiecte FP6, VIASAN, CEEX şi Biotech.
Publicaţii: Autor al volumelor: Limfoamele maligne non-hodgkiniene gastrointestinale-entitãţi anatomo-clinice şi morfologice (2001, 2011), Clinical Morphopathology, 2 vol. (2001), Morphopathology, 2 vol (1995, 1997), Morfopatologie practica, 2 vol. (2000), Curs Practic de Morfopatologie, 2 vol. (1995). Autor a 167 lucrãri ştiinţifice dintre care 32 de lucrari cotate ISI.
Afilieri: membru corespondent al Academiei de ştiinte Medicale din Romania (2009), membrã a Societãţii Europene de Anatomie Patologicã, a Societãţii Europene de Geneticã Umanã, Divizia Românã a Academiei Internaţionale de Patologie, Academia Malpighianã de Studii în Anatomia Microscopicã.

Education: High School "Mihai Eminescu" Constanta (1965-1969), Faculty of Medicine Bucharest (1969-1975), Specialization in Pathology and Legal Medicine at Caritas Hospital Bucharest (1982-1985), became the pathological anatomy MD 1991, Doctor of Medical Sciences at UMF "Carol Davila" (1995), exchange of experience at the University of Cadiz, Spain (1993), numerous international courses of Pathological Anatomy, Master of Health Management (2006).
Activity: MD, Head Physician Clinical Pathology Service of the Constanta County Emergency Hospital, Professor and Department Head of Normal and Pathological Morphology of the Faculty of Medicine, University "Ovidius" Constanta, the founder of the Department of Pathology, the Master of Science morphological, and since 2003 Professor PhD coordinator. It is involved in the establishment of five laboratories of pathological anatomy in the Constanta county hospitals, and Clinical Pathological Anatomy Service extension of the Constanta County Emergency Hospital with the establishment of departments for examination extemporaneously (1985), immunohistochemistry (2007). Is founder of the research team from the Service of Clinical Pathology (2006) and morphological and genetic diagnostic center for the study of malignant pathology.
Research: Further Study Hodgkin lymphomas localized non-digestive pathology of breast, ovarian, gastrointestinal stromal tumors materialized with the development of diagnostic protocols. Evaluation of pulmonary lesions, lymph nodes and brain of AIDS in collaboration with Professor Nezeloff, then president of the European Society of Pathologic Anatomy. Project manager in 11 VIASAN, CEEX, PNCDI II, IMPACT, POSDRU research projects and member in 12 FP6, VIASAN, CEEX and Biotech projects.
