RESEARCH
Numerical modelling & Micromagnetism : the micromagnetic modelling allows us to explore the magnetization distribution inside a ferromagnetic system at nanometric length-scale. By using a formalism based on the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation dynamical process are investigated such as: magnetization reversal, ferromagnetic resonance.

Magnetic nanostructures : Evolution of the static and dynamic magnetic behaviour of small magnetic objects as a function of size, shape, material and external excitation (magnetic fields, spin polarized injected current,…)
Magnetic recording : dedicated numerical tools to analyse magnetic devices like MRAM memories, MR reading heads, patterned media,… The formalism is based on a macroscopic-microscopic coupling technique (FEM, BEM,..).
