Research activity
During the last 10 years I investigated and developed genetic resources for American mink (Neovison vison). I have pioneered the field of mink genetics by producing the first genetic map of this species. Subsequently, studies involving gene mapping enabled the identifications and locations of several genes involved in coat colors, some of them associated with diseases.
