-"Marginalitate sociala si spatiala a tiganilor din Banat si Crisana" (Spatial and social marginality of the gypsies from Banat and Crisana ; contract for young researchers won with the Romanian Ministry of National Education) – as director of the contract;
- ‘Integrarea socio-economica a emigrantilor est-europeni in Suedia’ (The socio-economic integration of the east-european immigrants in Sweden’), contract financed by the Romanian Government, for the period 1 April 2003 - 1 July 2003 with a grant studying at the universities of Vaxjo and Uppsala (Sweden) – as director of the contract.
