In the first half of 2008 I worked on my Bachelor Thesis in "Grid Computing" domain doing research at the Faculty of Electronics Telecommunication and Information Technology.
From summer 2008 I began the research activity to the National Institute of Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics (INFLPR) at the beginning making software and electronic equipment for the Non-linear and Information Optics Laboratory.
In 2008 I have started a Master in Optoelectronics at "Politehnica" University of Bucharest.
From the beginning of 2009 I started to work on generation and characterisation of spatial solitons in lithium niobate and applications and I have presented a paper to the International Conference "Micro- to Nano-Photonics II - ROMOPTO 2009" as an oral presentation.
In 2010 I have continued my research in the domain of spatial solitons. In 2010, I have presented my work to 2 conferences and I have published 3 papers. I've started my Phd Thesis on Spatial Solitons in Lithium Niobate in the end of 2010.
In 2012 I have published 2 articles and presented a paper at the ROMOPTO 2012
Conference. In 2013 I have published 5 papers related on soliton waveguides and pyroelectric effect in lithium niobate.
In november 2013 I have finished my PhD Thesis with the title "Spatial Solitons in the volume and on the interfaces of nonlinear optical media".
