Nascut(a) in: 1967
Interese: patologie celulara si moleculara, genetica moleculara, semnalizare, virusologie
Detalii:
Experienta extinsa, dobandita in diferite echipe multinationale, pe teme de genetica moleculara, semnalizare intracelulara, patologie celulara si moleculara si virusologie. Experienta in aceste domenii a fost dobandita in cursul unor stagii de lunga durata cu burse obtinute de la International Training Course on Selected Topics of Modern Biology, Institute of Genetics, Szeged, Hungary (UNESCO/ICRO fellowship si Qualitas Biologica Hungary); Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship pentru cercetatori juniori (postdoc) - Special Program Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe, Institute of Human Genetics, Bonn, Germany; postdoctoral in medicina experimentala la Ludwig Inst. for Cancer Research, Brussels, UCL, Belgium si de asemenea, in cursul unor specializari de scurta durata la Inst. of Mol Biotechnology, Jena, Germania; Univ of Oxford, GB; Univ of Bonn, Germania,University of Antwerp, Belgia, University of San Diego, La Jolla, SUA. Rezultate semnificative au fost obtinute in domeniul dezvoltarii de noi metode investigative, identificarii de markeri de diagnostic si al semnalizarii intracelulare, celule stem/progenitoare, identificare/screening de noi medicamente.
Details:
Extensive experience in working in various multinational teams on molecular genetics, signal transduction, cellular and molecular pathology and virology topics. Experience in these fields was gained especially during long term fellowships like: International Training Course on Selected Topics of Modern Biology, Institute of Genetics, Szeged, Hungary (UNESCO/ICRO fellowship and Qualitas Biologica Hungary); Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship for junior scientist (postdoc) - Special Program Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe,Institute of Human Genetics, Bonn, Germany; postdoctoral fellowship in experimental medicine at Ludwig Inst. for Cancer Research, Brussels, UCL, Belgium, and also in some short-term trainings at Inst. of Mol Biotechnology, Jena, Germany; Univ of Oxford, UK, Univ of Bonn, Germany, University of Antwerp, Belgium, University of San Diego, La Jolla, USA. Significant results were in the fields of development of new methods of investigation, molecular markers for diagnostic, signal transduction, stem/progenitor cells, new drugs identification/screening.
