Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

• 1982 – 1984: Inginer chimist stagiar la “Combinatul Chimic” Fagaras, in cadrul sectiei de fabricare a explozivilor minieri gelatinosi (dinamita)
• 1984 – 1985: Inginer chimist stagiar la “Intreprinderea Chimica” Orastie, in cadrul Serviciului Tehnic
• Din octombrie 1985 si pana in prezent: Inginer chimist la „INSTITUTUL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE SI PROIECTARE MINIERA S.C. CEPROMIN S.A. DEVA” – Laborator: PREPARAREA MINEREURILOR SI PROTECTIA MEDIULUI
Din iulie 1998 - promovata in functia de Cercetator Stiintific Principal II, iar din februarie 2000 fac parte si din cadrul compartimentului de "Marketing si Relatii externe".
Din 1998 - membra a ASOCIATIEI DE CERCETARE MULTIDISCIPLINARA DIN ZONA DE VEST A ROMANIEI "ACM-V" .
• Din februarie 2000 am fost promovata in functia de asistent de marketing la CEPROMIN Deva.
• Din aprilie 2005 m-am angajat prin concurs la Agentia de Protectie a Mediului Hunedoara - Deva, in functia de consilier.

ACTIVITATE STIINTIFICA

- utilizarea senzorilor electrochimici pentru masurarea pH-ului si a concentratiilor ionilor Cl-, S2-, CN- din tulbureli de flotatie si solutii;
- recuperarea metalelor pretioase din minereuri, concentrate si reziduuri miniere si metalurgice prin tehnologii neconventionale (lesiere in solutii acide de tiuoree sau de cloruri, schimb ionic etc.);
- recuperarea Cu, Pb, Mo, Co, Ni din minereuri, concentrate si reziduuri miniere si metalurgice prin tratamente hidrometalurgice;
- sinteze de schimbatori de ioni anorganici (MnO2.nH2O; TiO2. nH2O si fosfat de zirconiu) si utilizarea lor la tratarea apelor reziduale de mina;
- decontaminarea apelor reziduale industriale (ape de mina, ape rezultate din procesele de preparare a minereurilor) cu continut ridicat de ioni ai metalelor grele, ioni sulfat, cianuri si suspensii prin metode chimice (precipitare cu diversi reactivi) si electrochimice (electrodializa reversibila, tratare electrica);
- remedierea calitatii solurilor contaminate cu metale grele si metale toxice;
- elaborarea de studii de impact asupra mediului si bilanturi de mediu pentru diverse activitati industriale;
- elaborarea de documentatii tehnice necesare inchiderilor de mina si reabilitarii mediului afectat de activitatea miniera.

- 1999 - 2001 "Exposure to Arsenic and Cancer Risk in Central and East Europe" - "EXPASCAN" – Proiect coordonat de IC Consultant Ltd (ICON) London, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine London si University of London.

• In October 1985 I joined the “MINING RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN INSTITUTE” S.C. CEPROMIN S.A. DEVA, as a member of the “Environmental Protection & Mineral Processing Department”.
• From 1998 I am member of "The Multidisciplinary Research Association from Western Romania: ACM-V".
• From February 2000, I was promoted as Marketing Assistant at CEPROMIN Deva.
• From April 2005 I joined the Environmental Protection Agency of Hunedoara.

RESEARCH WORK EXPERIENCE

• utilisation of electrochemical sensors for the measurement of pH and Cl-, S2-, CN- ion concentrations from solutions and flotation slurry;
• recovery of precious metals from ores, concentrates and residues from mining industry and metallurgy, using non conventional technologies (dissolution in acid thiourea or acid chloride solutions; ion exchange);
• recovery of Cu, Pb, Mo, Co, Ni from ores, concentrates and residues from mining industry and metallurgy by hydrometallurgical treatments;
• inorganic ion exchange syntheses (such as: MnO2.nH2O; TiO2. nH2O and zirconium phosphate) and their use in the treatment of residuary acid mine water;
• decontamination of waste water from mining industry (mine waters, residuary water from dressing plants with high content of heavy metals, sulfates, cyanides and suspensions) by chemical (precipitation) and electrochemical methods (reversible electrodialysis; electrical treatment);
• elaboration of environmental balancesheet and impact studies for mining industry and other activities;
• elaboration of mine closure studies and the rehabilitation of natural environment after the mining activity ceasing;
• assessments on the rivers and soil pollutants in the industrial areas of Apuseni Mountains and the establishment of the appropriate technology for their neutralisation.
