In prezent ocup postul de lector la Facultatea de Geografie a Universitatii I"Babes-Bolyai", Cluj-Napoca. Campul de interes stintific este axat pe probleme de geomorfologie dinamica, procese de meteoriztie si scoarte de alterare, soluri, poluarea cu metale grele in mediile naturale si antropice. Ca urmare a unei burse primite prin concurs de dosare de la guvernul Romaniei am urmat un stagiu de specializare in cadrul laboratorului Scolii de geografie de la Universitatea Queen's din Belfast, Irlanda de Nord. Acolo am invatat tehnici ca XRD, XRF, AAS, IC, and I have used many methods as: Available cations, Available phosphorus, Carbonate carbon - rapid titration method, Cation exchange capacity, Readily oxidisable organic carbon, pH determination, Phosphorus in water method and colorimetric procedure (Murphy and Riley) Particle size analysis - pipette and Galai method, Pyrophosphate and dithionite iron sequential extraction (for deeply weathered material) Total elemental analysis (for Si determination) Total phosphorus, Trace element analysis.

At present I am lecturer at the Faculty of Geography, "Babes-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
My field of work is focus on weathering processes and their products, Quaternary environments, surficial deposits, soils, pollution with heavy metals in natural and antrophic environments. As a result a scholarship granted by Romanian Government I had been working six months in Queen's University of Belfast Laboratory two years ago.
