Dr. Mario G. Perhinschi has a PhD degree from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania and a MS degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta USA, both in aerospace engineering. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department of West Virginia University. His research interests include: modeling and simulation of aerospace systems, system identification, aerospace related applications of artificial intelligence techniques, aerodynamics, handling qualities and performance of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, autonomous airvehicle control and design.
