We measured the total concentration of Zn and Cu in the human blood serum during in vitro aging in normal geomagentic field and zero magnetic field respectively (ZMF). The investigaton was carried out on blood collected from normal patients and brochial asthma patients. It was found that only copper was sensitive to the magnetic environment. The peculiar finding was that the in vitro aging effect of the blood was slowed down for most of the asthma types of pathologies. It is concluded that that ion binding to serum proteins and /or transport through cell membranes is sensitive to the magnetic environment.
