The information
day "Research in Europe: National and European Research Funding" for
young scientists and multipliers from all academic disciplines will
take place at the Freie Universitdt Berlin (Germany) on April 26th,
2005. Language of the event will be German. Deadline for registration
is April 22nd.
Programmes for doctoral as well as post-doctoral researchers will be
introduced by national and European Research and Funding Institutions
like the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft;
DFG), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Alexander von
Humboldt-Foundation (AvH), the VolkswagenStiftung, the
Max-Planck-Society, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Leibniz-Association,
Helmholtz-Association, the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt as well as
by representatives of the Human Frontier Science Program and the
Friedrich Naumann-Foundation. The Berlin Programme for Equal
Opportunities and the Marie Curie-Programme of the European Union will
also be presented.

The event is a co-operation of the Freie Universitdt Berlin, the
Humboldt University Berlin, the Technical University Berlin, Chariti
University Medicine, the University of Potsdam and KoWi.
