Rezumat:
We report the first successful deposition of fibrinogen blood protein thin films by matrix assisted pulsed laser evaporation using a KrF* excimer laser. We have demonstrate by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) that our thin films are composed of fibrinogen and fibrin maintaining their chemical structures. FTIR spectra, atomic force microscopy (AFM) micrographs and fibrinogen concentration depend on the laser fluence. The best results for fibrinogen deposition were obtained using lower fluences. # 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
