Applications from Hungary, Slovakia,
Romania, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic for the 2008 round of Group of
Eight (Go8) European Fellowships open on 1 September 2007.

The Fellowships are available to eligible early career researchers from
select European countries to work in a Group of Eight university for up to
six months.

In 2008 the Go8 universities to host a Fellow are the Australian National
University, The University of Queensland, The University of Melbourne and
the University of Adelaide.

Each Fellowship has a value to the Fellow of AUD20,000 made up of:

a) AUD18,000 payable to the Fellow for travel, including travel
within Australia and living expenses. AUD 3,000 will be made available in
advance for travel, with the remaining AUD 15,000 available when the Fellow
arrives at the host institution in Australia.

b) AUD2000 directly to the host institution for office accommodation
and IT expenses.

distributed by email to ensure that post doctoral researchers in your
