Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. At the Lisbon European Council in March 2000, Heads of State and Government set an ambitious target for Europe to become „the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world” by 2010. They also placed education firmly at the top of the political agenda, calling for education and training systems to be adapted to meet this challenge.
