Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. The organisers of the national conference with international participation „Romanian rural tourism in the context of sustainable development. Present and prospects” have the pleasure of inviting you to the 13th Edition to be held in Vatra Dornei on May 27–28, 2011.
The development of rural tourism in the last two decades and the experience that Romania has achieved in this area have drawn the attention of researchers and academics from the country and from abroad and together with the managers of tourist and agritourist guesthouses they attempt to provide solutions to the problems, numerous and difficult, facing tourism.
Hence, prestigious institutions in the ambit of Romanian scientific research and
professional training such as „Gh. Zane” Institute of Economic and Social Research –Iasi Branch of the Romanian Academy and University ,,Lucian Blaga” Sibiu, taking into consideration the requirements with which Romania has to comply as a Member State and most specially the current national and global economic context under the fatidic sign of the economic crisis, decided to organize the 13th Edition of the national conference Romanian rural tourism in the context of sustainable development. Present and prospects in order to bring together Romanian and foreign academics and experts able to provide relevant solutions meant to aid the rural tourism of Romania.
The conference will take place in a picturesque environment, an emblem of the
Romania where rural tourism is mostly developed: Sibiu.
We look forward to seing you on this occasion.

The papers will be presented in either Romanian or English.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors are required to address the conference topics only. The papers must not
have been previously published. The proposals will be submitted electronically to the email address aphaller@gmail.com.
The title, abstract and keywords will be submitted in both English and Romanian by March 6, 2011 and the approved papers by March 31, 2010.
The registration fee covers no more than two proposals/approved papers for each author.
Applicants must not pass the deadlines for:
▪ submission of abstracts and papers;
▪ payment of the registration fees.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All submissions must be at least Microsoft Word 6.0/95 format. No archived documents will be accepted. As title, a document may only be given the name of the author, or in case of several authors the name of the first author. If two proposals are submitted, they will be numbered and so will be the document, for example: brown.doc/brown1 and brown2.doc.

1. Paper size
Papers should be no longer than 10 pages, 1.0 interline space.
2. Title of paper
The title must be in both English and Romanian, written in capitals, using 12 point type in Times New Roman for the English title, 10 point type in Times New Roman for the Romanian title, bold, centered and followed by a blank line.
3. Author(s)
Name, scientific title and affiliation, e-mail, 10 point type in Times New Roman, Bold, center-aligned and followed by two blank lines.
4. Abstract in English
The word „Abstract” must be centered, 10 point type in Times Roman, bold and followed by a blank line.
The body of the abstract must be 1 000 characters at the most, 10 point type in
Times New Roman, followed by a blank line. The selection will take into account the importance of the subject, the objectives, the concepts, the results of the previous empirical researches, the major contributions in the field, the results of the research.
5. Key words
10 point type in Times New Roman, followed by a blank line. Five key words are to be written beginning with the most important notion.
6. Method and Methodology
10 point type in Times New Roman. The main methods and instruments used by the research are to be mentioned using 500 characters at the most.
7. Introduction
10 point type in Times New Roman, 700 characters at the most
8. Body of paper
12 point type in Times New Roman. Textul lucrarii va fi prezentat pe doua
coloane.
9. Tables

REGISTRATION
After being informed about the decision of the review process, for the approved
papers the authors must pay a registration fee of 150 ron. The fee covers the publication of two papers.
