Rezumat:
In order to formulate new ecological metalworking fluids, the paper presents the tests made in first phase on universal tests machines as: ball-on-disk CSM micro-tribometer at different loads with 6 mm ball of 100Cr6 and the disks were made of carbon steel, in the presence of fluid samples with different complex esters and concentrations, in order to establish the proper composition. On Amsler A135 machine, was established the tribological behavior of linear couple’s carbon steel- high speed steel. The obtained friction coefficient and wear curves for tested materials couple were used to evaluate EP proprieties for proposed fluids samples. In the second phase on special devices the selected new lubricants based on glycerin complex esters and polyol center samples with the best tribological behavior on universal testing machines and a mineral classical one were tested on drilling and turning machines. The cooling fluids proprieties were evaluated measuring with special devices at drilling axial force, torsion torque, and drill flank wear and at turning operation main cutting force and tool wear. Were also established the influence of turning machine variables above cutting tool wear.
