A new case of interspecific brood parasitism in Common moorhen Gallinula chloropus has been identified, at the Câmpeneşti fish ponds (Cluj County, Romania) in the year 2004. Only three cases like this were previously described, this being the second in which the parasitized species belongs to the genus Ixobrychus and the first case in which the parasitized species is the Little bittern I. minutus.
