Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA.

Grasses (Poaceae) are cosmopolitan plants with worldwide distribution. Their airborne pollen grains are very allergenic and causing pollinosis. Grasses are very common in the DKMT Euroregion and in the three bigest cities of the Euroregion: in Szeged (Hungary), in Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro) and in Timişoara (Romania). Hirst-type volumetric pollen samplers are located to measure their airborne pollen concentrations. During our research we have studied several parameters: the annual sums of daily averages, the maximum daily pollen concentration per year, the number of days when diurnal grass pollen counts were over 30 pollen grains/m3, the duration of Poaceae pollen release in different years and the monthly pollen productions concerning the 3 above mentioned cites.
Our results show that in the southern part of the Carpathian Basin the main season of grass pollen release are May and June which is followed by a decreasing period at the end of the flowering of the wild and the weed grasses.
