The book is more that a standard monograph based on previously published result. It is primarily based on the theoretical and applied results optained by the authors during more than 20 yars of practice and research devoded to problems of hydraulic computation in the desing oh a signifiant number of hydroelectric power plants and pumping stations in Romania that are now in operation.The book is equally addressed to engineers and practitioners working in design, construction and operation of hydraulic structures,as well as to academics working in this area of research.
