Rezumat:
The article intends to analyse the aspects of the long term capital investment under the particular conditions of the crisis we go through. The paper discusses the new data available, in order to describe the effects of the crisis on the investment of capital in long term immovable assets. During the pre-capitalist periods of time, most of the real investments didn’t normally involve financial transactions, but in the modern economy, the financial investments based on specific instruments and the real investments, such as acquisitions of tangible or intangible assets, coexist, so that, in the end, almost any real investment has also an important financial aspect. Nowadays all investors, from a local entrepreneur to big multinational corporations, ground their investment decisions on specific financial instruments: stock holdings, bonds etc. or on credits and other capitals attracted from various financial investors. But the interruption of the normal financial flow, the suspension of investments at the same time with the fall of stock exchange, lead to an unprecedented disturbance of the national economies, of the economic and financial activities, and especially of the long term investments. One could normally ask: for how long and how extensive will the economic and financial mechanisms be affected and how will the economic models look like after this crisis?
