The book deals with the main groups of risks of the firms getting into the international market and the strategies used by them in order to avoid these risks or, at least, to diminish their impact.
It develops a new and original indicator, in an attempt to assess the risks of association with an enterprise that already activates on a certain market. Also a software application, called AnBilant (VisualBasic), was developed, in order to help the marketers to evaluate the non-public companies.
The research was made over more than 800 companies, mostly from Romania and listed at the stock exchange. A special attention was given to the gas and oil industry.
