Rezumat:

Economy cannot and must not be a layman science or secular praxeology. It is an area of investigation of the mechanisms and concepts that summarize some of the research area and understanding of human action. Economic epistemology emphasizes this aspect, but economics earns ontological value through its apriori determined purpose. However, in these circumstances, a transdisciplinary vision of the studied phenomenon gets new meanings and influences a new more complex paradigm. Karl Popper’s refutability continues to exist and will exist as long as all the theories and models are purely scientific and covered by falsifiability and repetitiveness.
A moral economy, even a divine one, in which homo economicus rationalis is replaced by homo religiosus, whose set of values essentially includes a solipsistic behavior and moral norms of conduct in order ro influence in a positive way both self, the neighbor and the community, cannot fall under the attack of Popper’s conjecture. This is because associated values (kindness, honesty, fairness, compassion, temperance, morality, trust, faith, etc.) can not be checked and censored by the lens or filters of specific scientific corpus. There is a dissonance between indicators, indices, empty numbers and the profound knowledge with fruitful metaphysical and divine meanings.
This book is intended to be, without claiming an epistemological absolutism, an attempt to shift the
weight to the ineffable sphere. The challenge of bringing at the same level a science with its clear and universal assumptions, together with the spiritual and religious determinants of economic development within a religion and a denomination, is a step toward the reconciliation of these spheres and a way to enrich economics.
Economy, having in its center the human being, derived from the manifestation of the sacred in its fullness and potentiality. Therefore, it is imperative to return to the primary source of knowledge and try, within the limits and imperfections of human manifestation, to fill the void formed by removing God from the higher spheres of science. Therefore, although the thesis is an attempt to go beyond the narrow territory that provides the methodology and the tools of conventional scientific investigation, we believe that the main working hypothesis in various economic disciplines should be NIHIL SINE DEO!
