premii Ad Astra

Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA.

Diaporthales

Data about order Diaporthales, includind i ve families, 31 genera, and 104 species are included. Diaporthalean fungi are reported on 94 species of higher plants (grasses, shrubs and trees) from 46 genera, which are referred to 22 plant families. General information on seasonal development and vertical distribution of the fungi throughout the country is presented also. This book includes a general part dealing with the principles of classification,

Early Anthropogenic Transformation of the Danube-Black Sea System

Over the last century humans have altered the export of fluvial materials leading to significant changes in morphology, chemistry, and biology of the coastal ocean. Here we present sedimentary, paleoenvironmental and paleogenetic evidence to show that the Black Sea, a nearly enclosed marine basin, was affected by land use long before the changes of the Industrial Era. Although watershed hydroclimate was spatially and temporally variable over the

Intersections of translated algebraic subtori

We exploit the classical correspondence between finitely generated abelian groups and abelian complex algebraic reductive groups to study the intersection theory of translated subgroups in an abelian complex algebraic reductive group, with special emphasis on intersections of (torsion) translated subtori in an algebraic torus.

Prejudice toward immigrant workers among Dutch employees: Integrated threat theory revisited

Abstract: Integrated Threat Theory (ITT) (Stephan & Stephan, 1993, 1996) describes four types of threats as mediators in the relation between antecedent factors (previous intergroup conflict, intergroup contact, status inequalities, in-group identification, knowledge about the out-group, and intergroup contact) and prejudice. The four mediating types of threats, which influence prejudice according to ITT are: intergroup anxiety, negative stereotyping,

Does Conflict Shatter Trust or Does Trust Obliterate Conflict? Revisiting the Relationships Between Team Diversity, Conflict, and Trust

Abstract: This article explores the interplay between trust and conflict as antecedents of team effectiveness. In the first cross-sectional study, two alternative path models are tested in a sample of 174 teams (897 participants) with the emergent states of task conflict, relationship conflict, and trust acting as mediators between team demographic diversity (gender and nationality) on the one hand and perceived team effectiveness on the other. In

Emergent states in virtual teams: a complex adaptive systems perspective

Abstract: Research on virtual teams (VTs) has proliferated in the last decades. However, few clear and consistent theoretical attempts to integrate the literature on VTs in a systemic way have emerged. This paper uses the complex adaptive systems (CAS) perspective to integrate the literature on emergent states in VTs. According to this general framework, VT effectiveness depends on the interaction between three levels of dynamics: local, global and

A rational design of the of the multiwalled carbon nanotube -7,7,8,8-tetra cyanoquinodimethane sensor for sensitive detection of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors

A new, simple and effective amperometric acetylcholinesterase biosensor was developed using screen-printed carbon electrodes modified with carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)–7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). The design of the biosensor was based on the supramolecular arrangement resulted from the interaction of MWCNTs and TCNQ. This arrangement was confirmed by spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. Two different supramolecular arrangements
